Company information
Registered details
BramleyCase is the trading name of BramleyCase Ltd, a private limited company registered in England. Company number 16842731. Registered office: Hampton, England, United Kingdom. Director and sole owner: Victoria Bramley, holding 100 per cent of the issued shares. Issued share capital £10,000. Unique Taxpayer Reference 31784 62915.
Address and contact
The trading address, which is also the address for service of any document, is 44 Percy Rd, Hampton TW12 2JU, United Kingdom. It is a first floor office, not a mail forwarding box, and post is opened there. Telephone 020 8972 1652. Email lawconsult@bordermaintenance.co.uk.
Contact hours and response times
The telephone is answered by a person during the working week. If nobody picks up, leave a number and the call is returned the same working day. Email is acknowledged within one working day. We do not use a chatbot and we do not have an overseas call centre, so occasionally you will get a voicemail rather than an answer, and that is the honest reason why.
Regulatory position
We are not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Bar Standards Board, CILEX Regulation or the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not need to be, because everything we do falls outside the activities reserved by Schedule 2 of the Legal Services Act 2007. We are not a claims management company and we do not handle personal injury or financial mis selling claims, which is the work that would require FCA authorisation.
Data protection
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller. Our privacy policy explains what we hold and for how long. Any data protection question, including a request for a copy of your file, should go to the email address above and will be answered within one calendar month.
Insurance
We carry professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the value of the work we take on. The policy details, including the insurer and the limit of indemnity, are given in writing to any client who asks, and are set out in the scope note for larger instructions.
Complaints
Complaints are handled by the director, Victoria Bramley, and not by a department. Write to lawconsult@bordermaintenance.co.uk with the matter reference and what went wrong. You will get an acknowledgement within three working days and a full written answer within twenty. Because we are unregulated, the Legal Ombudsman cannot review our work, and we say so plainly rather than leaving you to find out at the end.
If you are checking these details before instructing us, telephone the number above and ask. We would rather answer that call than have you wonder.
